Dr. Stacy Church was born and raised in Historic Roswell, GA. She attended Colorado
State University for her undergraduate education, indulging her love of skiing and
the mountains. Following graduation, Dr. Church came back home to Georgia for her
doctorate attending The University of Georgia / College of Veterinary Medicine (Go
Dawgs). Dr. Church graduated from UGA in 2017 and was recruited by a former UGA
graduate to a small town in the mountains of West Virginia called Elkins. While living in Elkins, Dr.
Church fell in love with the West Virginia mountains. In 2019 Dr. Church was asked to
join a large, small animal practice, offering 24/7 emergency service in Morgantown,
WV. There she worked with over 20 other vets. Dr. Church became a leader amongst
their emergency department and gained extensive experience while developing the
practice.

Dr. Church is most excited about using the knowledge she has gained to help families
& their fur babies live their best lives. Educating owners on how to best care for and
monitor their pets, especially our geriatric babies – is what she most enjoys.
Family is Dr Church’s middle name, her Roswell family has all relocated to Canton,
GA. They split their time between Canton & Lake Chatuge, so Jasper made perfect
sense & Wayside was calling her name.
When not working you will find Dr. Church at home with her “Partner in Crime” and
their family -Tasha (Dachshund), Puggy (pug-chi), Betty (Che-weenie) & the very
naughty Cat Mushu! Family, boating, trashy reality shows, and being on the water
are all her favorite ways to spend time off work, though exploring Jasper and getting
to know the area has bumped up to the top of her List.
